Our developments-projects

The Hexa-Metal Ltd. has made in the last 5 years both by the content and by the value more significant developments-projects connected to each other.

1.) Building of a new crane-manufacturing hall.

The building of a new crane-manufacturing hall with 2000 m2 area financed from own resources and from credit. The total value of this investment was 200 million HUF.

2.) Widening of the metall-work capacities
( GOP-2007-2.1.2/B ).

With the grant of found called „Complex Development of Enterprises (GOP-2007-2.1.2/B)” co-financed by the European Union we’ve purchased a shotblasting machine with high transmission capacity, a CNC-controlled flamecutting machine with 4 heads, further computers and printers. In the scope of this project we’ve actualized our company-brochure and we’ve rebuilded our homepage, further we’ve qualified 12 welders, too. To this project with 90 million HUF total budget our company have got 36 million HUF grant.

3.) Widening of capacities (GOP-2008-2.1.1/B ).

On the basis of the Collaboration Agreement with the finnish company KONECRANES, signed in 2008 and in the interest of it’s achievment, paralell to the building of the new crane-manufacturing hall, the Hexa-Metal Ltd. made additional technological developments, too. In the scope of it we’ve purchased different machines to develop our crane-manufacturing activity and we’ve builded up a painting-shop. This development, owing to our successful application, was realized also with the support of Operativ Program for Economy-Development (GOP-2008-2.1.1/B). In addition to it we’ve arranged a language course for 10 persons. The complete budget of this projects was nearly 124 million HUF. We’ve got to this project 49 miilion HUF grant.

4.) Building of an assembly-shop (ÉAOP-1.1.1/D)

The Collaboration Agreement with the finnish company KONECRANES, signed in 2008 resulted a significant change int he production activity of Hexa-Metal Ltd.. Since the sign of the Agreement nearly tripled the yearly quantity of the produced cranes. To arrange the production of the 350-400 pcs cranes whitout any trouble, it’s turned to necesseary to build a new assembly-shop. Owing to our application to the tender called „ÉAOP-1.1.1-10/D Developing of Plants” we’ve got 100 million HUF grant to our investment with total budget 202 million HUF. In the course of the building-works, started at the end of 2011, we’ve made our painting-shop with 5 m longer and builded up a new, 55 m long assembly-shop. In the scope of this project we’ve purchased 4 pcs bridge-cranes, layed with asphalt the central-roads (4000 m2) of our plant and we’ve builded out a video and alarm-system, covering our whole plant. This investment was finished at the end of August 2020. As closing of this project, we’ve handover the new assembly-shop whit all due ceremony on 19.Oct. 2020.

5.) Complex technological development by Hexa-Metal Ltd. (GOP-2.1.1-11/B-2012-0101)

The HEXA-METAL Ltd. has expanded and developed continously the crane-manufacturing activity on the basis of the longterm Collaboration Agreement with the finnish company KONECRANES, signed in 2008. The quantity of the bridge-cranes doubled in short time. But the further extending of the production and the raising of the effectivity was no more possible by the actualy conditions.
For this reason co. HEXA-METAL Ltd. started in 2012 an investment to develop the crane-manufacturing activity-ben. In the scope of this project we’ purchased:

• • different machines for the production (welding-machines, heat-exchanger equipment, band saw-machine, plate-bending machine)
  • IT and office-equipments (new plotter machine, cutting-software, new telephone center and a computer network covering our whole plant)
  • certification of the EN ISO 3834 system
  • training and qualifying of 20 workers as crane operator
  Co. HEXA-METAL Ltd. has arranged this investment with 48 million HUF total budget with 16 million HUF grant from the found „Economy-Development” and it was finished on 31 of March 2014.

6.) Developing of the steel-constructions’ production by HEXA-METAL Ltd. (GOP-2.1.1-12/B-2013-1951)

The co. Hexa-Metal Ltd. operates in it’s actualy form since 1991. The main activity of the company is the production of different medium sized and heavy steel-constructions. With the arrangement of this current project will be developed. the whole production-processes of co. Hexa-Metal Ltd. It’s includes the modernization of the IT-conditions of production-engineering, the extending of capacities for material-preparing, the bettering of the technical conditions of the welding works, the bettering of the general working conditions and the extending of the scope of the quality-controll equipments.

In scope of this project has purchased the company:

• more production-instruments (welding-machines, flame-cutting machine, hand-tools, belt-grinding machine, painting-machine)
• developed the conditions of the quality controll with new measuring equipments ( sets of stick-micrometers, ultrasonic measuring equipment, calipers, layerthicknes measuring equipment)
• new IT and office-equipments ( computers, printers, copying equipment, engineering software)
• has significant developed the company-plant (installing of a new transformator-station, covering with asphalt the roads of the plant).

The Hexa-Metal Ltd. has arranged this investments-project with 183,7 million HUF total budget with 73,5 million HUF grant received from the found „Economy-Development” (GOP-2.1.1-12/B-2013-1951). The project was finished on 29 of April 2015.
